Yes. But here’s a great resource for anyone interested in exploring the question more deeply: PaulIsCatholic.com
It’s a new site recently launched by Taylor Marshall to complement his book, The Catholic Perspective on Paul. “It is based on the conviction that the Pauline epistles contain the primitive and pristine doctrines of the Catholic Faith.”
Translation: Many have come to the conclusion that (the apostle) Paul’s teachings in the new testament are not consistent with some of the teachings of the Catholic Church. His teachings are often taken out of context and twisted to support many various conclusions that conflict with traditional Christian teaching. Taylor does a great job of diving deep into this very interesting topic and helps us get to know St. Paul better while revealing just how Catholic he really was.
Taylor is not only an expert on this subject, but offers a very unique and exceedingly persuasive point of view. Like Paul, Taylor is a convert to “The Way.” And not only is he a convert, but he is a former Episcopal priest gone Catholic.
The website’s even got the various Pauline topics broken into some handy podcasts for your listening pleasure. I hope you’ll check it out!
