4D ultra sound

One day in the not-so-distant future ultra-sounds will be just about as easy and common as snapping a picture on your cell phone. Pretty cool.

This video (below) is a great example of one of the ways improved technology is the pro-life movement’s friend…because, in this case, it reveals the truth.

Warms my heart. Check it out: [Keep Reading]

Pampers iPad App - Hello Baby

Isn’t it sad that we are surprised when a big corporation does something overtly pro-life? Most are so focused on not offending anybody that they wouldn’t dream of doing something so violent to their bottom line as promoting the dignity of an unborn baby.

So I was pleasantly surprised by this new iPad app from Pampers. I do realize, however, that their bottom line is indeed driven by more babies being born, not less. But, hey, I won’t waste much time questioning motivations and I’ll just be grateful for it! Check out the cool video about it below: [Keep Reading]

Get a tweet everytime your baby kicks in the womb

Thumbnail image for Get a tweet everytime your baby kicks in the womb

If you can send a tweet…does THAT give you legal status as a human person? Unfortunately not. But anything that gives a small voice to the voiceless and helps remind the world of the life living within the womb is a great idea to me!

The Eye of God

A beautiful NASA photo of a planetary nebulae (created at the end of the life of a dying, sun-like star) about 650 light years away. Perhaps a visual reminder to us of our loving God who sees all.

Reading the Stars is totally Christian! Thank you, NASA

Thumbnail image for Reading the Stars is totally Christian! Thank you, NASA

Yes, reading stars can be a totally Christian thing to do.  It just depends on how you’re reading them.
Of course, if you are using them to try and predict the future in some weird astrological and horoscopical (is that a word?  No…no it’s not) type of way then, yes, that contradicts a sound Christian faith.  [...]

Is Social Media technology helping or hurting real-world relationships?

Thumbnail image for Is Social Media technology helping or hurting real-world relationships?

There is no doubt social media has fundamentally changed how the world communicates and interacts with one another. Some welcome it as a gift from God to more effectively communicate. Others are more cautious. Still others are doing everything to resist it.
But one thing is for seemingly certain: It’s here to stay. [...]

Among countless other faithfully Catholic things, on phatmass.com you’ll find [...]

By the Light of the Moon

Thumbnail image for By the Light of the Moon

We can all agree that we want progress.  The question is which way to progress?  In an increasingly complex climate of colliding cultures, defining progress is far too much like defining which way is up while floating in outer space.  The big difference being that the latter is entirely relative and the former only seems [...]
