baby's feet

Now that’s a beautiful picture.

The Diocese of Arlington is calling for a day of fasting today “for protecting the life, dignity, health and conscience rights of every human person in any legislation that Congress considers” (via CatholicVoteAction.org).

I’m gonna join them.

The Baby Gianna Story

This story has it all. Betrayal. Faith. Scandal. Disappointment. Tragedy. Love. Fear. Compassion. Uncertainty. And Hope.
It’s impossible to sum up. You just gotta read it and prepare to be touched. The Baby Gianna Story.

I was Born

A great video with a simple point. Next time somebody asks you why you are pro-life or why you are marching for life just say…

Offensive: Tebow’s Super Bowl Ad

I can see what Planned Parenthood and NOW and NARAL and all of the other “pro” women groups were so upset about. I mean…this is really offensive stuff:

If this one upset them so much I can’t imagine all of the

Scandal and Betrayal at the USCCB?

Washington, DC, February 2, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A national group that promotes abortion and homosexual rights has deep ties with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) Department of Justice, Peace and Human Development, according to a report released Monday.
I’m still digesting this story. I hope there are some better explanations for [...]

FAIL: Media coverage of March for Life 2010

I know this is just expected now. But we must continue to call out the media on their shameful coverage of pro-life events. If we don’t, they get bolder and bolder in their efforts to distort the truth.
This video should be watched and shared by any person of integrity – regardless of your beliefs:

CNN’s Rick Sanchez covers March for Life, is totally inept

Rick Sanchez, of CNN, is inept. That’s the nicest way I can put it. The guy is clueless. Very embarrassing for him.

To give those that need it some perspective…this is like a news correspondent covering Martin Luther King’s march on Washington and saying “well we have both sides represented” and then wondering aloud about “which [...]

L’Angelus and the CFRs at the March for Life 2010

Thumbnail image for L’Angelus and the CFRs at the March for Life 2010

I wasn’t able to attend the March for Life in DC this year. I was able to attend the March here in Dallas though – which was great. We posted some pictures and videos we put together from it here.
Two of my favorite groups of people, however, did get to attend the March [...]

Pictures and Video from March For Life Dallas 2010

We marched in the Dallas March for Life today.  It was a beautiful, but somber, Texas day and thousands were in attendance.
These marches are absolutely vital to bringing about real change, a real Culture of Life, and in helping us to fully face the reality of this great injustice.  Please get involved in one near [...]

Oldie but Goodie: Fr. Euteneuer calls out Hannity on birth control

This is a couple of years old now, but it’s a good one. Fr. Thomas Euteneuer calls out Sean Hannity on his inconsistent Catholicism. The very arguments that Sean Hannity makes clearly reveal his failure to grasp the theological depth of this issue (and the basic teachings of the Church). In the [...]

Have any of you heard when this is supposed to come out?  I think they are still looking for a distributor.  Sounds like a very important film to get in front of as many people as possible.
More info here. Film website here.

Have you seen The Butterfly Circus?

This is a great, pro-life short film starring Nick Vujicic and Eduardo Verastegui (of Bella).  It also won the 2009 Doorpost film festival.  It’s worth a watch:

Are you Whole Life?

Picked this up from St. Michael Society this morning:
There is a new pro-life movement out there called “I am Whole Life” and it’s taking the world by storm.  What does it mean to be Whole Life?  Fresh from its site, www.Iamwholelife.com, the campaign seeks to promote a respect for the intrinsic dignity of the human [...]

Testimonial: Woman watches abortion on ultrasound, turns pro-life

I mentioned this great news last week. Here’s the same woman on TV describing the horrific account of a baby’s execution inside of the mother’s womb. Being faced with this reality was enough to change her heart. I believe that more abortion supporters would have a similar change of heart if they only [...]

An ultrasound machine that fits in your pocket!

It’s coming. GE says it should be out in 2010 (video below):
The Star Trek Tricorder, a device that allows medics to check their patients in the field in the sci-fi TV show, took a step closer to becoming reality today thanks to a new device being shown off by General Electric in the US.
The [...]
