I can see what Planned Parenthood and NOW and NARAL and all of the other “pro” women groups were so upset about. I mean…this is really offensive stuff:

If this one upset them so much I can’t imagine all of the [Keep Reading]

Post image for Annoyed when people say “Xmas” instead of Christmas? Should you be?

Have you ever heard about the plot to “X” Christ out of Christmas?  And so the secular celebraters of this holy-day (holiday) decided they were going to start using “Xmas” instead of Christmas?

Well, it’s not true.

We do have lots of people who celebrate Christmas without the “Christ” part.  We also have lots of people who celebrate Christmas without the “mass” part.  And yet still others who celebrate the “holidays” without really celebrating any particular “holy day” at all.

We have taken God out of government, schools and the workplace. Many have transformed Christ into some kind of subjective feeling or force.  Even some “churches” have taken Christ out of their creed altogether. [Keep Reading]

Good Fridays: The beat…beat-beat

Here’s a really awesome video intro to a Catholic Underground – run by the CFRs (Franciscan Friars of the Renewal). It’s from awhile back but I never tire of watching it. The brotha speakin’ was Br. Augustino – now Fr. Augustino.  I’ve had the extreme honor of hanging with a few of [...]

A Theological Time Bomb

With all of the moral confusion in our society these days it’s hard to imagine what the future will look like. We seem to have an increasingly wide divide between those that “cling” to a traditional morality and those anxious to be free from it. And being on the eve of an Obama [...]
