I hope we’ll never forget this tragedy. It should always remain a reminder of many things, including just how fragile life and the privileges that come with it are. It should especially remind us of our freedom to fully express and live out our faith. America is a unique place in this regard compared to many parts of the world.
But no matter what your circumstances and no matter who you are, any tragedy should remind each of us of our undeniable personal freedom to accept or deny God in our life.

Although this election did not go as many of us would have liked and did not go in favor of LIFE, I am still a person of great hope – hope in our country, our world, and most importantly our God. Now, as much as ever, it is important for us as Catholics, Americans and fellow humans to be united and work together.
