Priests for Life

Here are some great thoughts from Fr. Frank Pavone (video below) on how being pro-woman means being pro-life. Being pro-life means supporting both the baby and the mother.

I especially like his point on the connection between mother and baby.  He says, “the destiny and the dignity of mother and child are inextricably linked. You can’t love one without loving the other. You can’t serve one without serving the other. And you can’t harm one without harming the other.”

Many people believe that pro-lifers put the baby’s life ahead of the mother’s. This is incorrect. We say why can’t we love them both?  Check out the video: [Keep Reading]

If you’ve ever uttered a negative word about one politician, I hope you’re registered to vote. I hope you’re registered to vote even if you haven’t. It’s important.

We have a very important mid-term election coming up this Fall. Let’s make it the beginning of some real change. And not just change for change’s sake, but responsible, moral, educated change. The kind of change that looks like the governed taking control of their governors. That kind of change is a mark of a healthy democracy – not a tired one.

Here’s a well-done video recapping many of the recent political issues to motivate us a bit (courtesy of CatholicVote): [Keep Reading]

How does the Birth Control Pill work?

Thumbnail image for How does the Birth Control Pill work?

It’s amazing how many young women take a mysterious pill almost every, single morning…and don’t know what it is doing to their body.
The Birth Control Pill, aside from being contraceptive, fundamentally changes how a woman’s body was made to function. It basically tricks her body into thinking it is constantly pregnant. When it “works” it [...]

10 Things We Could Do If We Didn’t Love Porn So Much

Thumbnail image for 10 Things We Could Do If We Didn’t Love Porn So Much

I did some quick calculations:
There are about 25.5 million teenagers in the USA (ages 13-19). On average, each one spends 87 hours per year looking for or at pornography online. That means U.S. teens spend about 2.2 billion man-hours on pornography per year.
There are about 230 million adults in the USA (ages 20 and up). [...]

Pretend I’m a Tree and Save Me

Thumbnail image for Pretend I’m a Tree and Save Me

It’s sad that some people in this country spend more time and effort trying to save trees than they do trying to save innocent human babies.
The federal government has bucked the constitution to seize and save thousands of square miles of plant-life. Yet it hides behind bad law as it sits by and allows the [...]

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

Thumbnail image for The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face

One day in the not-so-distant future ultra-sounds will be just about as easy and common as snapping a picture on your cell phone. Pretty cool.
This video (below) is a great example of one of the ways improved technology is the pro-life movement’s friend…because, in this case, it reveals the truth.
Warms my heart. Check it out: [...]

A Pro-life iPad App from Pampers?

Thumbnail image for A Pro-life iPad App from Pampers?

Isn’t it sad that we are surprised when a big corporation does something overtly pro-life? Most are so focused on not offending anybody that they wouldn’t dream of doing something so violent to their bottom line as promoting the dignity of an unborn baby.
So I was pleasantly surprised by this new iPad app from Pampers. [...]

Abortion Doctor Admits He is Killing

Thumbnail image for Abortion Doctor Admits He is Killing

This abortionist admits he is killing human life (I wonder if he’s that honest with his patients?). And he’s an ordained Baptist minister (now Unitarian).
Just boggles the mind, really, what humans can learn to justify in their heads – and to this extreme (video below).

A Little Bit O’ Sense: Mojave Cross Can Stay

Thumbnail image for A Little Bit O’ Sense: Mojave Cross Can Stay

Here’s the latest from the front lines of the battle between Religious Freedom and Government Kingdom.  Last year I posted on the effort to remove the Mojave Cross veteran’s memorial from public land. This week the Supreme Court finally ruled on the case.

Overpopulation is a Myth: Food Supply

Thumbnail image for Overpopulation is a Myth: Food Supply

Ever hear anyone make statements that imply the world is overpopulated?  And that we are being irresponsible by allowing so many people to populate the Earth?  Unfortunately, such statements are often being used to try to justify the use of abortion,  contraception and sterilization to fix the “problem” and/or they are criticizing those who have [...]

National Pro-life T-Shirt week starts today!

Thumbnail image for National Pro-life T-Shirt week starts today!

Today is the beginning of National Pro-life T-shirt week. So make sure and where your pro-life t-shirts proudly everywhere you go. It’s an easy way to remind people that unborn babies are people too.
Our society wants to depersonalize this class of unborn people so that we don’t feel as guilty for snuffing out millions of [...]

Just a piece of tissue, eh, Planned Parenthood?

Thumbnail image for Just a piece of tissue, eh, Planned Parenthood?

This is a picture of what organizations like Planned Parenthood and other abortion proponents refer to as “just a piece of tissue” inside of a woman’s body.
The baby pictured was born prematurely at 25 weeks (he survived!). That is still in the second trimester for those that haven’t done the math.

Will the Health Care Exec. Order on Abortions do anything?

Thumbnail image for Will the Health Care Exec. Order on Abortions do anything?

I meant to post this a couple weeks ago, but Ron Paul makes some really good points. The more time that goes by, the more sense this guy is making on these issues.  One of the key words for everyone to understand is “fungible.”
